Do I have to link a bank to try AgentSplit?
No. The free tier accepts manual entry + CSV upload. Bank-link is a Pro feature for users who want auto-import. When you do link a card via Plaid, the default is snapshot-and-disconnect: we pull your trip-window transactions, then immediately revoke access at Plaid.
What does Plaid actually see?
Only transactions in your trip date window. Never your balance, credit limit, account number, or login credentials. Read-only — Plaid cannot charge your card via the integration. Tokens are encrypted at rest (AES-256-GCM).
Can I cancel? Does cancellation refund?
You can cancel anytime from the customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current period — you keep Pro until then. We don't pro-rate refunds on the yearly plan (transparent up front), but we will refund within 14 days of upgrade if you genuinely can't get value.
What happens to my data if I downgrade?
Nothing disappears. Past trips, transactions, settlements stay. You just lose the ability to create new trips beyond the free 1-trip limit, and bank-linking is disabled. You can re-upgrade any time.
Is there a team or family plan?
Each Pro account is per-person. For shared-trip math you don't need everyone on Pro — the trip organizer being on Pro is enough. We'll launch a family bundle alongside Pro+ when travel extractors ship.
Why is this more than Splitwise Pro?
Splitwise Pro is ~$30/year for receipt-scan + ads-free. AgentSplit Pro is $39/year for all of that plus Plaid auto-import, AI classification, POS-split detection, and snapshot-and-disconnect privacy. We think the $9 is the difference between typing 40 transactions and not.
